Moving from a sleepy seaside town on the south coast of England to the Southside of Dallas, I grew up as a first generation American Chinese kid. After highschool, university and anchoring my heart in Austin, I uprooted to London to complete an MA in Metaphysics and now call it home. All of this has given me a unique connection to culture. An attitude of the heart and an openness to the world, it holds a critical place in my work.

 

Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped some of the world’s biggest brands battle with and lean into huge, sticky issues that impact whole industries. Defining problems more clearly to solve for the right thing. Creating messaging and campaigns to make sure it’s lived out.

A creative change agent, I’m here to help you translate ideas into stories to create wonder, understanding and belief in the new. I love curating and leading brilliant folk to evoke the right emotion. Unlocking and guiding their craft to create connection to build relationships and foster relevance.

 

My Spotify’s full of nineties hip hop, post bop, outlaw country, sixties soul and whatever you want to call Beyonce. Doechii's a dream. Nico a vibe. I love the beauty of Nick Drake, the heartache of Blaze Foley and the smoothness of Sade. These come with me most places, whether it’s long city walks, travelling to Buddhist activities or to the seaside for a donut. I've been joyfully married to Steve since 2010 and we live with our two cats and his many guitars in South East London. 

 

My goal is to keep thriving and helping others do the same. For my next move, I’m looking for empathy and speed. Where I can have more direct impact, create greater depth, see the response and pivot quickly. Here’s to being playful, fuelling fandom and taking a bit of a risk.
